Step 2: Assessments / Testing

For all entry level roles, we will require you to complete an online assessment to evaluate your ability to demonstrate sound comprehension, verbal and written communication, active reading and provide great customer experience. To evaluate written and verbal language, eClerx uses Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) ability. It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 (Beginner), up to C2 (Master).

Step 3: Domain/Skill-Specific Training and Assessment (60 Minutes course)

For entry-level roles, domain or skill-specific training is a vital part of the process. This structured approach ensures that you not only gain a solid foundation in the knowledge required for the role but also have the chance to demonstrate your proficiency through a formal, short training program. The training typically covers industry-relevant tools, processes, and methodologies specific to the domain you may work in, such as investment banking, technology, data analysis, or customer service. This targeted learning helps bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, preparing individuals for detailed operational discussions.

Post the training module, an online assessment is conducted to evaluate your understanding and ability to apply what you have learned. The results of these assessments are then used to determine the next steps in the selection process. This approach not only ensures that you are well-prepared for the roles but also lays the foundation for a successful career by equipping with the skills and confidence needed to excel on the job.

Step 4: Interview Process

Our interviews are competency-based and conducted by experienced interviewers:

  • The first interview is typically a telephonic screening or a face-to-face meeting with a member of the Talent Acquisition team. This is your opportunity to ask questions about the role and the firm.
  • Technical/Functional Panel: This is followed by a face-to-face interview with subject matter experts. This stage involves an in-depth discussion of your technical or functional expertise and your motivational fit for the role, team, and firm. The number of interviews may vary based on the role’s requirements.
  • Final HR Discussion: The last stage is a meeting with an HR representative from the process you may be selected for.

  • The offer letter / appointment letter provides access to the details of the offer and employment conditions.

  • Pre-Joining Communication: The candidate is introduced to the on boarding team and receives access to an online portal containing resources, company policies, and forms that need to be completed before joining.
  • Orientation Schedule: An orientation schedule is shared, outlining the first day’s activities, including introductions to team members, an overview of company culture, and essential training sessions.
